Family History is so much more than names on a chart, and this October is a perfect time to discover why!  October is Family History Month @ the Linton Public Library!! 👪 👪 👪

To celebrate, we are offering four programs for all different ages to help you celebrate your heritage!  

October is FAMILY HISTORY MONTH

"Break Through That Brick Wall" One-on-One Genealogy Help 

The library's genealogist and two genealogy volunteers will be standing by to work one-on-one with you to try to solve your most difficult brick wall. Please come to the library anytime between 4-6:30 PM on Monday, October 7th, for our assistance!

"Get to Know Greene County" Family History Info

Would you like to start working on your genealogy, but not sure where to go in Greene County for information?  Come to our "Get to Know Greene County" program (Tuesday, October 15th @ 5-7 PM), where we will have representatives/information from Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library, Greene County Historical Society, Jasonville Public Library, Worthington-Jefferson Township Public Library and, possibly the Greene County Vital Records Office, regarding their family history collections and services. 

"Books + Internet = Success" Genealogy Class

Although there is a lot of information on the internet, you cannot forget the value that books can bring to your genealogy search.  But, when you use them together, you will be surprised at how much more successful you can be! Come to our "Books + Internet + Success" Genealogy Class on Monday, October 21st @ 5-6:30 PM to discover how to combine your tactics for more success!

Creative Crafternoon

Also, our monthly Creative Crafternoon program will even become family-history related!  Bring your photos in, and with our scrapbooking materials, you can get those family photos framed, scrapbooked and display-ready!
